ITS Computer Lab

General information

As a cutting-edge University, Monash University Malaysia prides itself on providing the very best in computer technology for its students. Here we have 12 fully equipped computer labs with a total of 356 computers. Each lab is fully furnished to provide a conducive environment for lab classes, research, assignments, and projects and so on. Beside the computer labs, we have 159 computers in Building 7 Level 1 Library and Learning Commons, exclusively for Internet browsing, assignments, projects and so on. All the computer labs are outfitted with excellent visual aids.

Computer Lab Operation Hours

The ITS computer lab operational hours are as below:

Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:30pm
Closed on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.

Changes or addition to the computer lab operational hours will be conveyed to all students via notices available at the notice boards, computer labs and PC desktops.

Additional Lab Facility

We have a total of 6 HP Scanner’s available for student’s usage in computer labs.

Distribution and location of scanners are listed below;

Computer Lab 11 building 9 level 5 1 scanner
Computer Lab 12 building 9 level 5 1 scanner

All the scanners connected to 6 standalone computers dedicated solely for scanning purposes only. These computers are configured for auto logon to ensure the computer is used for only this purpose.
