Network Account

General information
The Network account comprises of a unique username and password. The username cannot be changed, whereas your password can be changed. The Network account is used to login to the Monash network. Upon logging onto the computer, you will gain access to your email, Internet, network drives and personal drive.

Obtaining the Network account
To obtain a network account, kindly approach our ITS Service Desk personnel located at the Learning Commons (Building 7, Level 1). Alternatively, you may reach us at extension 46200 or e-mail us at servicedesk@monash.edu.my.

Changing your password
It is advisable to change your password often for security reasons. However, this is entirely up to you. You may change your password by following the steps given below:

  1. Log into the computer using your existing network account.
  2. Hit Ctrl+Alt+Del
  3. A dialog box will appear with the option "Change Password"
  4. Click on that option.
  5. Follow the instructions and you've successfully changed your password.

Forgotten your password
